District Knowledge Network (DKN) is an entertaining pedagogical experience of academic, workforce and critical thinking knowledge. Content includes: arithmetics, foreign language lessons, workplace preparation and conflict resolution.
The District Knowledge Network (DKN) features a robust schedule of programming with shows like BIZ KIDS, a weekly half-hour series featuring teens learning about money and business as well as setting and achieving their financial goals. THINK BIG, is a weekly DKN half-hour series featuring teen inventors with big ideas. SO YOU WANT TO BE is a weekly half-hour series featuring teens learning about possible future careers. MAKE TELEVISION showcases people who transform ordinary junk into amazing creations, and DKN offering, MISSING, is a weekly half-hour series focusing attention on the plight of missing children.
DKN also broadcasts football game highlights and features from the District of Columbia State Athletic Association (DCSAA) every Friday. Local youth have the ability to see their athletic talents showcased weekly during the season.
